Social Research
The Oxford Research Agency regularly conducts a wide variety of social research projects. Our clients in this area range from district and county councils through to national bodies.
Unlike many providers of social research, we treat each project in this area with the same degree of individuality as we do our commercial clients. We do not try to shoe horn research into pre-arranged packages and our flexibility and cross sector expertise often allows us to find unique solutions that maximise actionable data within the limited budgets available.
As with all areas of research we simply refuse to provide nice to know data in this or any other area, but instead concentrate on providing bespoke research projects that can actually make a difference.
Our social research ranges from large scale residents surveys and panels through to the examination of specific national issues including a number of projects examining key environmental concerns.
In terms of methodological innovation, we look to use those techniques which have been developed in other areas and transfer these into the context of social research where possible. We offer a complete range of quantitative techniques and methodologies (and have found that our use of conjoint techniques, both paired and full concept, has proved exceptionally innovative within this field). We also now offer increased qualitative insight through the launch of Mimosa.
“Very many thanks and an excellent report and very well summarised. Hopefully it should help focus minds and that’s just great, so lots of thanks again.”
